A Letter from the Delos Reyes Family
The Alexa Foundation was there during our most difficult time. Our daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer, and we were lost and scared. Through our community, Michele Dyer had heard the horrible news and immediately came to the hospital to comfort us. She shared with us about her sweet little angel "Alexa" and how she had lost her to a brain tumor and personally knew the emotional and financial roller coaster. Michele spoke with us about the Alexa Dyer foundation, wanting to help us; she gave me a one page, very simple application for financial assistance. She also gave me a Strength Angel coin to keep with me for strength. I still have that coin today! In conclusion, the Alexa Dyer Foundation is a miracle foundation based on love, support and strength for those going through the worst ordeal a parent could face, resulting in financial and emotional instability. Please, all those who read this, think what if this happened to you? What would you do? Where would you go? The answer is the Alexa Dyer Foundation. They were able to assist us by paying our outstanding bills, taking away some of the stress so we could be there for our daughter. God Bless you Russ, Michele and the Alexa Dyer committee.
